Ramona Iacoban
Ramona combines forestry experience with a strong academic and practical background in ecology and land-based conservation. Originally trained as an ecologist in Romania, she continued her professional development in the UK, completing a Diploma in Land-Based Conservation and a Certificate in Ecological Consultancy.
Working in forestry since 2015, Ramona has experience across woodland creation, woodland management, harvesting and landscaping projects. She has particular knowledge of forestry grant schemes, including the England Woodland Creation Offer and Woodland Tree Health Grants, and has worked throughout Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire and Somerset.
As a Forester with Tomorrow’s Forests, Ramona develops and manages forestry projects across southern England. She works closely with landowners to understand their objectives, assess the opportunities presented by each site and develop practical, nature-led proposals. Her ecology-based approach helps ensure that woodland projects balance environmental value, long-term management requirements and deliverability on the ground.
