Shawna is a Canadian forestry professional with an MSc in Forestry and more than a decade of experience in reforestation, project management and field operations. She began her career as a tree planter in northwestern Ontario and has since worked across Canada, personally planting more than one million trees.

Her experience extends from hands-on fieldwork to managing crews and delivering large-scale projects in remote environments. Along the way, she has developed practical expertise in forestry operations, logistics, data analysis, quality assurance and client and community relations.

Shawna moved to the UK in 2024 and joined Tomorrow's Forests, bringing extensive Canadian forestry experience to a new operational landscape. As Operations Supervisor – Forestry Development, she supports the planning and delivery of planting operations while contributing to the continued development of Tomorrow's Forests' forestry capabilities.
